How physically demanding are the walking routes?

The itinerary is moderate. Old Mardin features stone staircases, cobblestone alleyways, and slight inclines. Comfortable walking shoes with rubber soles are recommended.

Is the day trip to Göbeklitepe strenuous?

The drive from Mardin to Göbeklitepe takes around 2.5 hours via private vehicle. The archaeological site itself features wooden boardwalks and shade roofs, making exploration comfortable.

Can private culinary preferences be accommodated?

Yes. While regional cuisine is famous for spiced meats and stuffed vegetables, vegetarian selections and specific dietary requirements are readily arranged in advance.
